computer crashed. I think that's the end of it, but I might try to

bring it somewhere to be fixed, although the closest place to ...

In the women’s 3,000-meter individual pursuit, Kimberly Geist (Emmaus, Pa./Metro Volkswagen) claimed the national title over Alison Powers (Boulder, Colo./Colavita-Sutter Home). Powers qualified first with a mark of 3:50.496, but fell to Geist in the head-to-head final by less than a half second. Geist, 21, was also awarded the U23 championship.

Congrats Selene

Earlier this evening Selene finished the Ironman in 11:08:32!
That's 1st in her age group, 16th for all women, and 138th overall out of 1975.
The re-cap goes like this... Selene got out of the water in 17th, kicked it on the bike and got off in 1st and then held that through the run, finishing about 18 minutes ahead of 2nd.

Looks like all her hard work has paid off - join me in congratulating her!

WELL DONE, WAY TO GO!

Just got word from Brian that he'll be going home from the hospital later today. He's not back on his feet yet, but there's progress and he's very happy to be going home. He wanted me to pass the word to everyone, so no one gets a surprise if they stop in LVH to see him.

I'm sure he'll be back on lunch and shop rides before we know it...
