NEWS FLASH: Lunch ride location change!

Next Monday (February 9, 2009), the Bicycling magazine offices are moving out of North Street to the 10th Street building. And the lunchtime ride meeting spot is moving with them.

So...beginning on Feb. 9, we'll meet at the loading area on 10th Street (across from the Furnace Dam park). Still noon, of course. We'll still hear the bells from there.

Maybe this could be a time of healing as well, in which after a cooling-off period this weekend, the extremists on each side of the fender dispute could come together without vitriol and bombast, and see what they can learn from each other to make the Lehigh Valley a better place.

As an innocent caught in the middle, fearing for my business, my freedom, my fitness, my SKS Raceblade fender — and my sense of humor — I would be willing to moderate any talks or meetings.

P.S. I don't want to point fingers but I think Steak is the Fender Liberation Movement.
