Granted that some of you are out there with cyclometers, GPS units, and (at least one) anally organized spreadsheet of your last 3,242 rides. But I suspect that I'm not the only one who rides without any real technology.

With that in mind, I've started mapping some of our more popular bike routes. You can check out what I've done so far at this link:

The software allows me to layer our routes onto Google Maps, which means the routes are mapped with mileage and elevation gain/loss. And if you click on "Notes" the software will produce a cue sheet for each ride. Pretty cool. The software isn't perfect--there are a couple of brand new roads on the Derby, for instance, that aren't even mapped yet--but it's still fairly useful. Let me know what you think.

Now if I ever put a computer back on my bike, I might know where the hell I am....or maybe not.

I've mapped around 15 rides on there too. Most leaving from T-town, although some are from Emoss. My username on there is at609.
See you on the road!
