First Race of The Season
Pa. Elite Velo/Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute
Presents the 2008 Lehigh Valley Spring Omnium Series Race #1
At The Valley Preferred Cycling Center
The Valley Preferred Cycling Center is one of the premier tracks in the country and has produced many of the junior and elite riders that have represented PA and the USA in national and world competitions. Since 2001 I have promoted a track event that has been a fixture on the race calendar in PA and for many of the faithful at T-Town has ushered in the start of the track racing season and the first opportunity for racers of all levels to test their metal against the competition.
Pa. Elite Velo/Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute is proud to promote the 2008 track season opener on Saturday April 26th. So dust off that track bike and get ready for some fun in the sun (hopefully) at the concrete crater. There will be 3 events for Cat 2/3, 4, 5, Masters 35+, Women, and Junior’s (10-14) plus an A & B Feature.
On line registration is available tomorrow on www.BikeReg.com at:
http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?EventID=6129
Entry fees are $15 for elite and masters, and $10 for juniors with $5 for an additional category of racing for those looking to get in a very full day of racing.
If you can distribute this email to your racing contemporaries I’d appreciate it. If you have any merchandise you’d like to donate for our junior awards let me know as well. Rick Miller, Dane Douglas, and I are featuring a 3 race series this year with other events on May 5th and 31st so there is plenty of opportunity to get in track shape prior to the regular season scheduled events. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. See you on April 26th at T-Town!
