DHart Update - The News from Switzerland
Here's the latest from Dan's dad, David:
Hey All,
I'm extremely pleased to report that Dan is making fantastic progress in his recovery. He is getting more and more mobile and his spirits are very good.
Today as promised the tubes were removed from his lungs along with his IV tubes, so yes, now Dan is running tubeless.
Yesterday evening the folks from DT Swiss visited him and today the people from Schwalbe stopped by before they headed back to Deutschland. I can't tell you how supportive these folks have been. Their visits have been a great lift to everyone's spirits -- yes including themselves as they are amazed at how excellent Dan looks after what they saw on Monday.
The surgeon stopped by today and was very encouraging on all matters except he is sticking to the five more weeks of 'no flying'. The doc also reported that today's chest and back x-ray showed all is well.
